Organic form drawings
this drawing series is not very creatively named. organic forms are shapes and figures that emerge organically from nature.
for example, you might see an erosion pattern in a cliff face, or mold growing in a petri dish, or seaweed floating in a current. these are all organic forms.
that’s what these drawings are of: naturally-emerging unstructured forms. they are always unplanned and take shape with no preconceived vision of the outcome.
i usually draw them on a tiny piece of paper no larger than an index card with a single colored pencil.
there are more than 70 of them in this gallery.
